Tyranny does not always come with tanks in the streets or soldiers at the door. Sometimes, tyranny comes dressed as business deals and advertising contracts. Sometimes it comes through the quiet handshake between government officials, corporate leaders, and foreign powers who see the American population not as free citizens — but as a market to be bought and manipulated.
When U.S. companies take money from foreign governments to deliver propaganda into our minds, and when our own government allows or even facilitates this, they are not defending democracy. They are betraying it.
What do you call it when an American company accepts millions of dollars from a foreign power to target the American people with propaganda? That is not commerce. That is not free speech. That is the sale of sovereignty.
And when our own government does not stop it — or worse, quietly encourages it — they become the middleman of our subjugation. They hand us over to foreign interests, not with chains, but with algorithms. Not with bayonets, but with ads.
This is tyranny in its modern form.
Foreign propaganda does not grow our economy, strengthen our democracy, or enrich our lives. It only benefits three groups:
Meanwhile, the American people gain nothing:
It is a transaction where the people are the product — and the payoff goes to someone else.
The Founders of this country warned us about this. Tyranny was not just about kings and crowns. Tyranny was about any system where the people are ruled for someone else’s gain.
When foreign powers can buy influence over Americans, and when corporations and government serve as brokers of that influence, we are no longer sovereign. We are tenants in our own democracy, ruled not by truth but by the highest bidder.
This is not freedom. This is not representation. This is tyranny by another name.
We must confront this betrayal head-on. That means:
This is about whether we live in a free nation or not. When our own institutions hand us over to foreign influence for money, we are not free. We are subjects.
This must end. Because tyranny — whether by kings, corporations, or governments in collusion with foreign powers — is still tyranny. And it will never, ever benefit the American people.
We deserve better. We deserve truth. We deserve sovereignty. We deserve a government and corporations that serve the people — not sell them.
