To the American People,

The United States has always stood on principles of freedom, accountability, and the belief that power must answer to the people. Those principles are not tested when things are easy. They are tested when we are willing to examine ourselves honestly.

Today, this campaign is publishing an Executive Order framework establishing the Global Accountability and Sovereign Impact Review Task Force for 2029, while inviting the current administration to use this model now if it chooses to pursue accountability through lawful, evidence-based means.

Purpose of the Letter

This initiative is not about assigning collective guilt to the American people. Most Americans are already navigating rising costs, economic pressure, and daily survival demands that narrow time and attention. Accountability in a democracy must recognize that reality.

A fully informed public requires both access to information and the social and economic stability needed to process it. Strengthening our nation requires both.

What Accountability Means Here

  • Reviewing facts and evidence transparently.
  • Examining potential institutional misuse through constitutional channels.
  • Addressing verified harm lawfully and publicly.
  • Preventing recurrence through reforms and education.

A nation confident in its values does not avoid scrutiny. It invites scrutiny to remain aligned with the principles it claims to uphold.

Accountability Without Revenge

Accountability is necessary. Truth is necessary. Education is necessary. But accountability must never collapse into revenge.

Retaliation may feel like justice in the moment, but it does not build stability, restore trust, or prevent future harm. The stronger path is to understand what happened, how it happened, and ensure it does not happen again.

A National Standard for the Future

If this review finds harm, it should be addressed in ways that strengthen the country, uphold the rule of law, and support long-term global stability. The measure of the United States is not whether it has faced difficult truths, but whether it has the strength to face them and act responsibly.
