Today I realized how easy it is for our current President, VP, and Congress to ACT but they don't. They don't want to hear your troubles, it obvious.

A Proclamation

Whereas , the nation recognizes the sacrifices made by our veterans and the urgent need to address homelessness among those who have served;

Whereas , despite ongoing efforts, thousands of veterans remain without stable housing;

Whereas , supporting transitioning service members is essential for their successful reintegration into civilian life;

Now, Therefore, by the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1: Funding Allocation for Homeless Veterans

- The Secretary of Defense shall immediately release funds from the Department of Defense budget to secure permanent housing for every homeless veteran in the United States.

- These funds shall be allocated to purchase homes or provide direct rental assistance till the home is ready, ensuring access to safe and stable living conditions.

Section 2: Support for Transitioning Service Members

- The Department of Defense shall provide financial assistance for home purchases for service members exiting the military, with a maximum allocation of $150,000 per service member.

- The Department shall collaborate with the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate access to this support and streamline the application process for eligible service members.

Section 3: Implementation and Oversight

- The Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Veterans Affairs are directed to coordinate the implementation of this Executive Order and report on progress within 90 days of this order.

- The Office of Management and Budget shall oversee the funding allocation to ensure accountability and transparency.

Section 4: Date: YOU DECIDE

This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon signing.
